2023 February 15:
Significant re-organization of website uploaded to server.


2021 December 9:
More website renovation: continuing to improve image resolution, uploading new art and logos, updating Sootwork-Mauzi sequel site into "Cloaky-Loaf: Sootwork in the Wake of Time."

2021 November 8:
Beginning website renovation: raising image resolution for modern screens, re-organizing and paring down pages, etc. Paperbacks "Brevitous Accounts of Fictitional Incidents" and "The Runaway Weer Addenda" are being prepared for publication in early 2022.


2019 October 11:
New website sections opened: "A Star Shoots Over Oz" and "Sootwork in the Wake of Time."

2019 September 25:
First print run of the Runaway Weer Addendum booklet "Runaway Weer and the Whispering of a Wish." As of this day, all finished projects are finally in print.

2019 September 19:
"Runaway Weer the Accused" and "Sootwork-Mauzi" approved for sale on Amazon; going live on following day.

2019 May 18:
Vending at Aurora Mini-Con in Aurora, CO.

2019 April 30:
Moving out of Amherst, NY. Site updates not expected again until setting up new studio in Aurora, CO.

2019 April 16:
New website sections opened for graphic novels in early production: "Big Little Lynn" and "Dinn in the Dark."


2018 October 20 - 2019 March 22:
Charles is in Colorado, far from his art/publishing studio; no website updates during this time.

2018 October 13:
Vending at Rochester Small Press Book Fair in Rochester, NY.

2018 September 8:
Vending at Sugar City Art Collaborative's Buffalo Zine Fair.

2018 July 27:
Three new "Brevitous Accounts of Fictitional Incidents" booklets now in print: "Yunoo Hearing Things," "An Estranged Spouse," and "The Farcical Facade of Oz."

2018 July 7:
Vending at Western New York Book Arts Center's Buffalo BookFest.

2018 June 15:
"Runaway Weer the Corrupted" and "Upon the Name of Oz" are approved for sale on Amazon; appearing there on the following day.

2018 June 8:
Newly listed 'Brevitous Accounts of Fictitional Incidents' entries (in progress): "Yunoo Hearing Things," "Fusterbill," "An Estranged Spouse," "The Great Supping on Soup," and "The Farcical Facade of Oz."

2018 May 9:
First proofs of "Runaway Weer the Corrupted" and "Upon the Name of Oz" have arrived from the printer.

2018 March 11:
Website section opened: "Sootwork-Mauzi," with an initial episode in prose.

2018 February 2:
Now in print and awaiting premier: the 'Brevitous Accounts of Fictitional Incidents' booklets "An Endangered Domicile" and "Yunoo Left To Her Own Devices."

2018 January 14:
Launched a YouTube channel.

2018 January 4:
Started an Instagram account. User name: charles_j_shearer.

2018 January 1:
"An Endangered Domicile" and "Yunoo Left To Her Own Devices" are added to the ongoing collection 'Brevitous Accounts of Fictitional Incidents.' Also, 'Freelance' section opened.

Vending at Western New York Book Arts Center's Last Minute Panic Holiday Marketplace.

2017 November 4:
Vending at Sugar City Art Collaborative's Buffalo Zine Fair.

2017 September 3:
Two new website sections opened: 'Brevitous Accounts of Fictitional Incidents' (prefacing "An Afflicted Victim," "Cure for the Common Corn," and "A Bereaved Family" thus far) and "Upon the Name of Oz."

2017 August 24:
Now available on Amazon: "Runaway Weer the Burdened," "Li'l Lynn Tells It Herself," and "The Answer Lies in Oz."

2017 August 6:
Now in the proofing (i.e. test printing) process for "Runaway Weer the Burdened: Volume 1 of Runaway Weer," "Li'l Lynn Tells It Herself: A Novella-zation," and "The Answer Lies in Oz."

2017 June 15:
"Li'l Lynn Tells It Herself" section opened; this novella-zation and "Runaway Weer the Burdened" are intended to premier at the Buffalo Zine Fair in 2017 November.

2017 February 22:
"Li'l Lynn: The Joy of Childhood and Other Myths" is now available at Gutter Pop Comics in Buffalo, NY.

2017 February 3:
"Li'l Lynn: The Joy of Childhood and Other Myths" is now available on Amazon.


2016 December 16:
Facebook artist page created. Also, "Li'l Lynn" is being prepared for self-publication in Winter 2017.

2016 August 26:
Regained Internet access after nine days without; site updates resuming. New studio is mostly set up; 63 pages which were penciled and lettered in Metro-Atlanta now await inking here in Western New York.

2016 August 18 and 19:
Moving from Decatur (Atlanta), GA to Amherst (Buffalo), NY.

2016 July 10:
'Illustration' section opened.

2016 March 2 through April 6:
Charles will be in South Korea. Site updates not expected during this timeframe.
